The Spark Behind the Pivot
Every great company starts with a problem. Ours began when our founder, Brandon Aday, a Gen-AI engineer with 20 years in digital marketing, found himself stuck while trying to launch his own side projects.
To get unstuck, he built his own AI coach. By blending large language models with the Lean Startup framework, he created PivotPal—an AI co-founder that challenged assumptions, tracked experiments, and sharpened ideas.
The tool was too good to keep private. Friends juggling their own dream ventures tried it, and their feedback was clear: aspiring entrepreneurs everywhere needed this kind of structured, data-driven guidance.
From that spark, LeanPivot.ai was born. We evolved a personal tool into a public platform with a simple mission: to democratize scientific entrepreneurship. We give innovators the AI firepower and lean process to waste less time, spend less money, and finally ship products people love.
